Oxfam sex scandal: Are foreign charities welcome in Haiti?
Even before the devastating earthquake of January 2010, it was estimated that there were over 10,000 NGOs operating in Haiti, some with very little official oversight or regulation.
Now the Oxfam sex scandal has increased many Haitians’ frustrations at the actions of some of the charities operating there.
