Batman's Story Will Be A Big Part Of Flashpoint

This lead to his father Thomas Wayne taking on the Batman mantle and his wife Martha (MARTHA!) going insane and becoming the Joker. However, among the many rumors attached to it, one of the loudest speculations is that it will feature Batman in its story. The animated movie Justice League: The FlashpointParadox was a reasonably straightforward adaptation, while The Flash TV series only loosely used that story's elements in its Season 3 premiere. With this, it is speculated that there is no more stopping Warner Bros from producing the "Flashpoint" movie as fans surely want to see more of Miller as the scarlet speedster. Personally (and I'll have a longer article about this next week), I think Flashpoint would be a mistake at this point. The star even expressed interest in playing the alternate Batman once before.
We've already seen Jeffrey Dean Morgan's iteration of Thomas Wayne in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, so assuming that the Flashpoint movie does have Thomas Wayne serving as Batman in that altered timeline, then no doubt The Walking Dead actor would reprise the role. It seems DC is waiting to see how Justice League performs to fully ramp up development on it because right now, the movie has no director and seemingly no writers unless Geoff Johns is penning it which would make sense since he wrote the original comic.
This early, though, there are already several speculations on how the "Flashpoint" movie will turn out.
Yup, he just made it sound like Batman would be a part of the movie.
The Flash himself, Ezra Miller, seems to be pretty confident in the movie, though. That version of Flashpoint featured the same essential setup - Barry traveling back in time to save his mother - but the inability to use most of DC's iconic characters and the limited budget of a CW show meant the alternate reality was decidedly less epic than the source material. "The development of the project has been a little Barry Allen-like in its mercurial tendencies", Miller said to Entertainment Weekly "But it looks morepromising and more exciting than any of the other stages of development that we've been in".
Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, he said: "What fans understand when they hear Flashpoint would be nearly like hearing a word like Crisis".
While Justice League certainly boasts a wealth of bits and pieces of content that were ultimately left on the cutting room floor, one of the film's stars reveals a piece of dialogue that was removed from the DC Comics film in order to maintain its PG-13 rating.
