BLAKE SHELTON IS LEAVING GWEN STEFANI BEHIND TO HEAD OUT ON TOUR WITH SOME ‘COUNTRY MUSIC FREAKS’
Blake Shelton is about to hit the road to promote his new album, Texoma Shore. The Voicestar just announced his new tour, “Country Music Freaks,” which kicks off in early February. While Shelton is clearly looking forward to hitting the road, there’s one person who won’t be joining him on the trek: Gwen Stefani.
According to Rolling Stone, Shelton will be touring the Southeast and Midwest, beginning with a concert in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Carly Pearce, Brett Eldredge, and Trace Adkins are performing alongside Shelton on the tour, which lasts through mid-March. Although Stefani isn’t going with her boyfriend on the tour, he will make one stop in Los Angeles before closing things with a show in Philadelphia.
Shelton has already debuted a few songs from his new album, including “I’ll Name the Dogs” and “At the House.” The tracks were appropriately recorded at a studio on Lake Texoma, close to the country star’s old stomping ground of Ada. Texoma Shore is scheduled for release on November 3.
Stefani isn’t hitting the road with Blake Shelton, but that doesn’t mean their romance is in jeopardy. Instead, their relationship appears stronger than ever. An inside source even told Hollywood Life that Shelton and Stefani have grown closer over their shared dream of having children.
While the rumor mill has been churning, Shelton and Stefani are not currently expecting a baby. The insider, however, claims that even the thought of having kids together is drawing them closer than ever before. The source also revealed that Shelton and Stefani constantly joke about starting a family and even argue over naming the kid. Stefani loves trendy names like Emma and Stella, while Shelton enjoys country ones like Rusty or Billy Bob.
The insider claims that the couple will try to have a kid by the end of next year. The two, of course, have not confirmed these rumors, though Shelton has expressed a desire to have kids in the past. Stefani currently shares three boys with her ex-husband, Gavin Rossdale. The two also haven’t said anything about Blake Shelton’s upcoming tour and how they plan on dealing with his extended absence.
